The US has a hypersonic weapon

The US military has announced it has carried out a successful test of a prototype hypersonic missile that it hopes within five years to introduce on armaments to compete similar weapons developed by Russia and China, AFP reported.
According to the Pentagon announcement, the missile was fired from a range on Kauai Island, Hawaii, on March 19 at 22.30pm local time (8.30pm on Greenwich).

Hypersonic weapon is fast and can avoid the enemy's anti-missile and anti-aircraft systems. A striking kick opening strike with him could have paralysed command of the attacked side.

The US has already announced that it will allocate billions to develop an arsenal of hypersonic weapons with different launch media and different radius of action.

Japan and Germany are also known to be developing hypersonic missiles that target Beijing and Moscow's military potential respectively.
