The severe consequences that COVID-19 brings after cure

Japanese scientists examined coronavirus infection recovering patients who were being treated in hospitals. One consequence of the disease caused by COVID-19 is hair loss, as well as continuing for months shortness of breath and feeling weak, scientists from the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Tokyo found, BGNES reported.
The study showed that among those who were in the hospital with COVID-19, 4 months after recovery, symptoms of shortness of breath remained in 11% of people, weakness experienced 10%, violations of smell and taste - 10%, excruciating cough - 4%.

Moreover, two months after the onset of COVID-19 symptoms, a quarter of patients discharged started complaining of hair loss.

Scientists note that similar symptoms are also seen in those who have been cured of Ebola.
