The crew of the manned ship “Dragon” is in pre-flight quarantine

Crew members of manned Dragon ship Douglas Hurley and Robert Benken were placed in pre-flight quarantine in connection with their planned launch to the International Space Station (ISS) on May 27, NASA and BTA said.
According to information from the US Space Department, the current quarantine rules have been developed in such a way as to protect crews but also to enable astronauts to work collaboratively under conditions when their contacts are limited. They can spend their quarantine either at home if the right conditions are in place, or at the Johnson Manned Flight Center in the city of Houston, Texas. The astronaut quarantine will last until May 20, after which they will arrive at the spaceport in Cape Canaveral, Florida state.

The start of the manned ship of the company “Space ex” is scheduled for 27 May at 23:32 hours Bulgarian time and the docking with the ISS is scheduled for 28 May.
