The Beadow navigation system will provide free services to citizens

China's Beidow navigation satellite system will provide free services to mobile phone users with positioning accuracy of 1.2 metres within seconds, thanks to the latest platform, which was activated during a forum at the Beidow summit on October 14.
Based on Beadow-2 and Beadow-3, Version 2.0 provides services other than those of the US global positioning system to lure consumers and manufacturers by spurring the development of the Beadow system, Chinese experts swerved.

Version 1.0 of the platform has also achieved good results with 180 million active users per day and a daily business volume of over 3 billion items.
