China successfully launches new Changzhen 5B carrier missile

At 6pm on May 5, the carrier rocket Changzhen 5B was launched from the Wenchang Province from the Wenchang Province, with which prototypes of a manned spacecraft and a cargo ship with a return capsule, Radio China broadcasts.
After 488 seconds, the two devices successfully separated from the carrier rocket and entered their orbit.

The mission represents the first successful launch in China and Asia of a spacecraft weighing 22 tons. In the future, Changzhen 5B will be used to carry the remaining elements of the future Chinese space station into Earth orbit.

The prototype of the manned spacecraft will remain in orbit for about 3 days, during which time key technologies will be tested and important data needed for the continuation of the mission to create the space station.
